How can leaders create energy, provide focus, and strengthen their impact – within themselves, their teams, and their organizations?
For three intensive days, participants of our English-language seminar Leading with Energy and Focus explored these questions together with Prof. Dr. Heike Bruch and Prof. Dr. Nils Fürstenberg.
Nils Fürstenberg introduced the concept of Organizational Energy and demonstrated how the quality and intensity of energy within an organization influence performance, engagement, and leadership effectiveness. Furthermore, he highlighted the differences between transactional and transformational leadership and discussed how leaders can provide orientation, inspire, and mobilize their teams.
Heike Bruch focused on personal leadership effectiveness and self-leadership. Using the Busy Manager Trap, she demonstrated how leaders can maintain their focus and mobilize positive energy while avoiding the acceleration trap. In intensive live-case exercises, participants applied these approaches directly to challenges from their own leadership practice.
During the seminar, participants addressed topics including how they can:
- strengthen their personal leadership impact
- mobilize organizations without falling into the acceleration trap
- create clarity, focus, and commitment within their teams
- inspire and mobilize others through transformational leadership
A central message of the three days was:
«Anyone who wishes to become a strong leadership personality should begin by learning to lead themselves.»
A particular highlight was the contribution of our guest speaker Christoph Nettesheim, who provided personal and practical insights into the topics of self-leadership, energy, and team dynamics.
Would you like to further strengthen your leadership impact?
The next English-language seminar Leading with Energy and Focus will take place from September 1 to 3, 2027, at the Executive Campus HSG in St.Gallen.
