The Institute for Leadership and Human Resource Management (IFPM) at the University of St. Gallen has appointed Frauke von Polier to its Institute Advisory Board as of October 1, 2025. She brings many years of experience in the areas of People & Culture, leadership, and organizational development.
Frauke von Polier is Chief People Officer and a member of the Executive Board of the Viessmann Generations Group. She is one of the most influential voices in the People & Culture community. The HR magazine named her «CHRO of the Year» in 2022. Previously, she significantly shaped the growth stories of these companies at SAP and Zalando.
In her work, she intensively addresses the question of how organizations can be successfully led and shaped in a digital world. Her conviction: With the right people, a matching leadership style, and a sustainable culture, even complex entrepreneurial challenges can be mastered.
With her appointment to the IFPM Advisory Board, the Institute strengthens its connection to business practice and broadens perspectives on current topics such as New Leadership, transformation, and the future of work. The IFPM considers collaboration with experts from the business world, such as von Polier, an important basis for actively continuing to build the bridge between academia and practice.
